What can you find on Whereis.com?

At Whereis.com we are always looking at ways to improve the site so that you continue to come back for all your map, directions and business searches.

A snapshot of recent changes:

New map design
We’ve reduced the map chart brightness to make it easier for you to focus on the business and place information presented on the map.

Points of interest (POIs) & pop ups
Those trusty POIs have been given a makeover. We’ve changed their shape and colours to make them ‘pop’ on the page. Also, the little pop-up boxes that contain further information about POIs are now outlined for further visual consistency.

Hover to reveal business information
When your search results display on the left-hand side of the screen, you can now hover your mouse over each listing to reveal its name and place on the map. Easy!

Even more business information
We know you like to have as much information as possible about a business, so now you can click on ‘More’ to reveal new business profile pages. These give further detailed information about the business where available, including such things as a short description and opening hours.

So there you have it – the latest tweaks to Whereis.com, designed to put you in touch with the right business in the shortest amount of time, and like always, helping you get there in the most efficient way possible.

Stay tuned for more updates from Whereis.com over the coming months.
